Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Rare Disease Account Manager to promote our oncology portfolio, identify key accounts, and establish partnerships with healthcare professionals in the assigned territory. The successful candidate will build sustainable relationships with key stakeholders, leverage customer insights, and develop strategies to facilitate access to our portfolio in hospitals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of relevant disease states, our products, and the competitive landscape.
  • Build productive relationships with targeted physicians, key accounts, and other stakeholders through effective territory management and precise execution.
  • Develop territory business plans with short, medium, and long-term objectives aligned with regional and national objectives.
  • Analyze sales reports and develop territory business plans to increase sales.
  • Track implementation of plans and achievement of objectives using company systems and own processes.
  • Achieve or exceed market share and volume goals.
  • Represent Recordati Rare Diseases at industry functions and events to position us as a trusted advisor and committed partner to those who live with and treat rare diseases.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5+ years pharmaceutical experience.
  • Rare diseases experience highly preferred. Niche/specialty experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree required. Coursework or degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or Medicine strongly preferred.
  • Strong track record of sales success within the pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industries.
  • Experience executing within regulatory frameworks (e.g., FDA, OIG, and PhRMA guidelines).
  • Prior consultative sales experience required.
Work Environment

This role requires frequent travel, including domestic and international trips, to meetings and conferences. The employee must be able to fly via commercial air carrier and have a valid driver's license and means of transportation.
