Sales Floor Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Manager to join our team at Emerging Blue Jobs. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth in our retail stores.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Experience
- Develop and maintain a welcoming and inclusive store environment that meets the needs of all customers.
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring that company values are consistently represented in all interactions with customers.
- Provide comprehensive product knowledge and engage customers in a way that drives sales and builds brand loyalty.
- Handle customer situations with patience and kindness, escalating issues to leadership as needed.
- Share customer feedback with leadership to inform improvements to the customer experience.
- Staff Scheduling, Training & Management
- Partner with Emerging Blue to design and schedule shifts, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing labor costs.
- Maintain ongoing communication with Emerging Blue and report back to internal teams as needed.
- Anticipate and staff for periods of high traffic, reducing staff headcount as appropriate.
- Ensure staff breaks and lunches are taken at appropriate times in accordance with local employment law.
- Partner with leadership to design staff training programs and lead training sessions.
- Hold staff accountable to brand standards across timeliness, uniforms, customer interactions, product knowledge, and shift duties.
- Escalate any customer or staff issues to leadership.
- Ensure proper tracking of losses and train staff on loss prevention practices.
- Ensure staff safety and well-being.
- Onsite Organization, Visual Merchandising, Replenishment & Inventory Management
- Partner with Emerging Blue to schedule and staff for receipt of inventory.
- Ensure proper tracking of display items and testers.
- Coordinate with leadership and creative agencies on visual merchandising plans.
- Manage ongoing visual merchandising and ensure back-of-house organization and cleanliness.
- Obtain and manage weekly cleaning services.
- Coordinate with staff on back-of-house supplies.
- Report to leadership on inventory levels and recommend replenishment as needed.
- Coordinate with Emerging Blue on staffing and scheduling for ongoing inventory replenishment.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Support brand activations and events as needed.
- Attend weekly task force meetings to stay informed and aligned with company goals.
- Provide onsite Shopify support and ensure accurate recording of sales and inventory levels.
- Report on key metrics, including foot traffic, sales, and inventory levels.
