Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Executive Sales Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all Sales processes and working closely with the Senior Vice President of Operations to manage branch operations. The Executive Sales Manager will oversee all staff, budgets, and operations of the local business unit, formulating overall sales and delivery strategy, managing people, and establishing policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Growth: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
- Establish Goals and Targets: Set and achieve sales targets, and establish programs to motivate the sales team.
- Account Retention: Develop and implement strategies to retain existing customers and increase customer satisfaction.
- Budgeting: Create revenue and expenditure budgets for the sales team.
- Selling Strategies: Develop different selling strategies for specific target markets.
- Staff Management: Manage account reps to turn them into sales people, and provide coaching and training to improve sales performance.
- Industry Participation: Participate in industry functions, committees, and association gatherings to stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity.
- Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products and services.
- Meetings and Presentations: Develop and deliver presentations to assist in company sales objectives.
- Branch Operations: Oversee the daily workflow of the branch, and provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Discipline and Termination: Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Requirements:
- Branch Management Experience: Minimum 4 years of operations management experience required.
- Inventory Control Experience: Inventory control experience required.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Industry Experience: Flooring industry experience a plus.

- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree preferred.
