Job Description

Prequel Solutions is seeking a skilled Benefits Administrator to join our team in the greater Pittsburgh area. This is a long-term contract position with a flagship financial services company, offering a hybrid working model and excellent benefits.

  • W2 hourly pay rate in the range of $26-$31 per hour, depending on experience
  • Hybrid working model (2 days WFH, 3 days onsite in downtown Pittsburgh)
  • Excellent Health Benefits Starting Day 1 of employment
  • 401k with matching
  • 8:30am-5pm workday Monday through Friday

In this role, you will be responsible for administering health, welfare, and retirement benefits, while supporting employee inquiries and the operations of company benefits programs.

  • 2-3 years of experience in health and welfare benefits administration.
  • Experience with retirement benefit administration preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and Word required.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft, Dayforce, Oracle Financials, or other HRM systems preferred.
Key Responsibilities:

Health & Welfare Benefit Administration:

  • Maintain PeopleSoft benefits records, generate reports, and handle carrier interfaces.
  • Process vendor payments and ensure accurate submission and approval.
  • Oversee life insurance documentation and evidence of insurability.
  • Respond to vendors and employees regarding benefits-related inquiries.
Support Benefit Open Enrollment:

Retirement Administration:

  • Administer 401(k) plan, including reviewing transactions (loans, distributions) for accuracy.
  • Address employee questions related to retirement plans and work with recordkeepers on service inquiries.
Other Responsibilities:
  • Update and distribute benefits communication materials and the Employee Benefits Handbook.
