Job Title: Benefits Specialist

Prequel Solutions is seeking a skilled Benefits Specialist to administer health, welfare, and retirement benefits for a flagship financial services company in the greater Pittsburgh area. This is a long-term 16-month contract position with a hybrid working model, offering W2 hourly pay rate in the range of $26-$31 per hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate benefits records, generate reports, and handle carrier interfaces.
  • Process vendor payments and ensure timely submission and approval.
  • Oversee life insurance documentation and evidence of insurability.
  • Respond to vendors and employees regarding benefits-related inquiries.

Benefits Administration:
  • Administer 401(k) plan, including reviewing transactions (loans, distributions) for accuracy.
  • Address employee questions related to retirement plans and work with recordkeepers on service inquiries.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Update and distribute benefits communication materials and the Employee Benefits Handbook.
