Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish your personal brand while familiarizing yourself with company structures and policies.
  • Within the first month, you will be expected to onboard and gain insights into operational processes.
  • By the end of 60 days, you should have a solid understanding of all renewable VeloCloud products and demonstrate proficiency with sales tools and systems.
  • At the 90-day mark, you will need to effectively coordinate territory coverage through collaboration with various departments, including Sales and Renewal Sales Operations, to enhance customer success and product adoption.
  • Exhibit decision-making skills aligned with the strategic goals of the organization.
  • By 180 days, you should establish yourself as a trusted individual who upholds high standards.
  • Lead renewal discussions with VeloCloud Telco partners.
  • Manage your sales territory effectively to meet quarterly renewal rate targets and quotas.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including VMware Field Account Executives, Renewal Sales Operations, Deal Management, Legal, Finance, and VeloCloud Telco Partners.
  • Utilize sales tools to prepare and validate high-value renewal proposals.
  • Comprehend complex VeloCloud Telco partner agreements, including terms, conditions, and pricing considerations.
  • Provide accurate weekly forecasts to Leadership and Renewal Sales Operations.

In this position, you will report to the Manager of Renewal Sales, who has extensive experience in the technology sector and has dedicated years to becoming a Renewals Subject Matter Expert. She fosters an environment that encourages independent thought and innovative problem-solving.

The Renewal Sales team consists of eight representatives who manage renewal business transitioned from various VMware Mergers & Acquisitions. The team culture is characterized by openness, collaboration, and support.
