Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team at TechnoSmarts, Inc. As an HR Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our HR department, ensuring the smooth operation of our human resources functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, including data entry, personnel records, and training.
  • Maintain confidentiality and understand federal laws associated with human resources and payroll.
  • Process various applications, employment, enrollment, pay change information, and other confidential forms and records.
  • Maintain and distribute current employee information, policy and procedure manuals, and other communications.
  • Foster a learning environment by sharing and documenting information and knowledge.
  • Exhibit administrative excellence by meeting and exceeding department targets.
  • Interface with customers, including factory and field personnel, HR operations, HR business partners, and HR services teams.
  • Perform routine transactions and correspondence based on customer requests and requirements.
  • Process various forms related to documenting human resources activities.
  • Function as a communication liaison, identifying and sharing departmental issues, concerns, and needs with senior HR leadership and other HR associates.
  • Assess customer needs, gather and give information, and suggest options for inquiry resolution while navigating multiple computer systems and applications.
  • Maintain the integrity of employee records, including Form I-9 verifications.
  • Conduct new hire orientations as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline is desired.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in human resources operations support.
  • Employee onboarding, orientation, and payroll experience.
  • Experience in Microsoft Power Platform is a plus.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of transactions and input into HR systems.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
