De Forest, Wisconsin, United States The Hometown Pharmacy Full time

Position Overview:

Are you a dedicated pharmacist seeking a role that offers flexibility, diversity, and opportunities for professional development? Consider the position of Regional Pharmacy Specialist within our Dane and Columbia County Region. This role offers the potential for a hybrid work model, allowing for both onsite and remote work options.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Regional Pharmacy Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our organization, stepping in for regular pharmacists during their absence. Your responsibilities will include delivering exceptional customer service and patient care while adapting to various work settings and collaborating with different teams to make a positive impact across multiple communities.

Collaborative Environment:

We are in search of pharmacist partners who value collaboration and wish to contribute to the ongoing development of our supportive work culture.

Supportive Team:

Our pharmacy boasts a robust technical team, with most patients enrolled in medication synchronization programs to enhance the dispensing process and allow for a greater focus on clinical services.

Comprehensive Benefits:

We offer full-time positions that include a comprehensive benefits package, encompassing medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance, along with a 401K plan featuring matching contributions, paid time off, and employee discounts.

Proactive Healthcare Initiatives:

Our business model emphasizes proactive healthcare for both customers and employees. Many essential supplements are covered by insurance, while others are available at significant discounts.

Work-Life Balance:

We prioritize a healthy work-life balance, with structured work hours that include a designated day off each week, occasional half-day Saturdays, and no work on Sundays, along with ample flexibility for time-off requests.

Engaging and Fulfilling Work:

As we expand our clinical services, pharmacists can engage directly in these initiatives or support their colleagues. Our pharmacy is involved in various services, including proactive supplement education, micronutrient testing, hearing aid screening and fitting, health coaching, Medicare D plan consultations, medication therapy management, and more.

Pathway to Ownership:

We serve numerous supportive communities that value local pharmacy services. While ownership is not a requirement, we are committed to mentoring pharmacists who aspire to take on ownership roles within Hometown Pharmacy through a robust funding structure.

About Hometown Pharmacy:

Since 2003, Hometown Pharmacy has been dedicated to caring for patients and engaging with communities. Our pharmacists go beyond merely filling prescriptions; we are committed to proactive care, annual wellness visits, and clinical services. We empower our employees through education, enabling patients to make informed health and wellness decisions.

We strive to provide a collaborative, educational, and highly productive work environment. You will receive training in health and wellness, clinical care initiatives, and nutraceuticals. Work Schedule:

Our typical work hours are:
  • Monday - Friday from 9 am to 6 pm
