Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in various pharmacy operations, primarily focusing on the accurate dispensing of prescriptions and essential administrative tasks under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with a lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to all patients and healthcare staff.
  • Assist in filling prescription orders and prepare them for verification under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
  • Manage the ordering, receiving, and storage of pharmacy supplies.
  • Process medication orders from wholesalers efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by verifying medication stock and entering data into the system.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacist to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Perform various clerical tasks related to pharmacy operations.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills in all interactions.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Missouri or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.

  • At least 6 months of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
