Position Summary:
We are in search of a meticulous individual to fulfill the role of Safety & Training Coordinator. This position encompasses a blend of administrative responsibilities within the Safety Department alongside support for the Training Team in crafting impactful training initiatives. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational capabilities, a strong attention to detail, and proficiency in creating engaging training materials and presentations. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and a background in graphic design are advantageous. This role is designed to balance administrative tasks with creative endeavors, adhering to Hooper's design standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily administrative tasks within a web-based safety management system, ensuring accurate tracking and updating of safety records, including collaboration with team members on drug test entries and preparation of safety reports for management review.
- Work closely with the Safety and Technical Training Manager to design, develop, and refine safety training materials, including Weekly and Monthly Safety Talks.
- Utilize various software tools to translate training documentation, incorporating voiceover and AI technologies as needed.
- Oversee all training assignments for Hooper, managing both internal training sessions and client-related training platforms.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires by addressing training-related inquiries, gathering necessary information during orientation, and coordinating with safety specialists to ensure new employees receive appropriate safety equipment.
- Maintain and update training records and databases, ensuring comprehensive documentation of all employee training activities.
- Support the collection of physical forms not integrated into the safety management system, such as Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), receipts, and daily inspection logs, while communicating effectively with field supervisors and the safety team.
- Help organize and coordinate training sessions, including logistical arrangements, participant communication, and venue preparation.
- Participate in evaluating training effectiveness and propose enhancements based on participant feedback and assessment results.
- Prepare and disseminate safety communications, newsletters, and updates to all staff members.
- Assist in managing the inventory of safety equipment and supplies, including ordering and tracking.
Work Environment:
- Standard office setting with routine computer use, requiring prolonged periods of sitting and repetitive typing.
- Occasional site visits may be necessary.
- Ability to lift 25-35 pounds on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications:
