Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Coordinator to join our team in Orlando, FL. This is a temporary 3 to 4 month contract to cover maternity leave, offering a competitive hourly rate of $20-23/hour.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to department personnel, including preparing project documentation and correspondence.
  • Coordinate and facilitate meeting set-up, clean-up, and food/beverage arrangements.
  • Maintain the department copier/printer and ensure the work area around it is tidy.
  • Create and maintain project files, ensuring all documents are filed appropriately and archived when the project concludes.
  • Confirm that all correspondence meets established firm and project standards.
  • Assist with general office and other clerical duties as required.
  • Screen callers and guests, forwarding calls to employees or transferring them to voice mailboxes.
  • Check voice mail messages, routing and/or noting in Office Status as appropriate.
  • Account for all employees in Office Status, notifying the Office Manager, HR Director, and President of absences and unaccounted-for employees.
  • Keep the reception desk clean, presentable, and clear of deliveries.
  • Sign for deliveries and ensure the lobby, package room, and conference rooms are tidy and ready for use.
  • Provide parking validation for appropriate visitors.
Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Working experience as an Administrative Coordinator/Assistant with a Construction, Engineering, or Architecture company.
  • Strong communication skills, computer skills, and ability to multi-task.
