The HVAC Accounting Specialist plays a critical role in the smooth operation of the business, responsible for all aspects of accounting for the HVAC service group, including invoicing, expenses, receipts, payments, auditing, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process all job-related invoices.
  • Track and reconcile all job-related expenses.
  • Reconcile all receipts through business systems.
  • Review and pay job-specific invoices.
  • Audit revenue and expenses.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Two plus years of experience in accounting, preferably in the HVAC industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
