About the Role

Cushing Terrell is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineering Team Lead to join our team in Missoula, Montana. As a key member of our civil engineering department, you will be responsible for leading a local team of engineers and collaborating closely with other design disciplines to deliver high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of civil engineers and provide mentorship and professional development opportunities
  • Prepare fee proposals, engineering reports, cost estimates, field reports, and schedules
  • Negotiate, prepare, and execute contracts
  • Provide oversight and quality control for project calculations, plans, reports, and specifications
  • Develop and retain client relationships as well as internal team and leadership relationships
Requirements
  • ABET-accredited degree in Civil Engineering
  • 10+ years of job-related experience
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Montana
  • Current NCEES license
  • Strong ability to build and lead a regional civil engineering team
  • Expert knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and proficiency with WaterCAD or equivalent modeling software
