Role Overview:
We are currently in search of a qualified, enthusiastic, and driven individual to assume the role of Program Control Specialist. The selected candidate will be responsible for essential program planning, monitoring, control, reporting, and documentation tasks to ensure compliance with contract requirements and to support the ongoing success of our initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive program planning documentation, including performance measurement baselines, project timelines, and work breakdown structures aligned with the program manager's strategy.
  • Monitor and track project progress against established plans, utilizing an earned value management framework to assess task schedules, budgets, and overall project health.
  • Oversee actual and projected costs, ensuring alignment with budgetary plans.
  • Implement a systematic approach to track deliverable requirements, due dates, and actual submission dates, including version control.
  • Manage material requirements from initiation through to receipt.
  • Document project action items and issues for resolution.
  • Coordinate risk management activities, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in the development of cost proposals.

Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:

  • U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
  • Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in applying Earned Value Management principles.
  • At least 3 years of experience with project planning and control software, such as Microsoft Project.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is highly desirable.
  • Experience in preparing program planning and reporting documents for DoD Programs of Record.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build collaborative relationships with management, technical staff, and clients.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Deltek CostPoint.
  • Project management certification, such as CAPM, is a plus.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Project for monitoring cost, schedule, and resource requirements.
