Healthcare Customer Service Representative

Position Overview:
At Select Physical Therapy, we prioritize an outstanding experience for our patients right from their initial interaction at the front desk.
Your front desk role is crucial in advocating for patients, facilitating communication through various channels, managing patient transactions, and utilizing diverse software applications.
Your contribution is vital to enhancing every patient's care journey, even before they enter the treatment area.Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, with varying shifts
Compensation:
Starting at $15/hour (Based on Experience)
Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for candidates who are adaptable, patient-focused, excellent communicators, detail-oriented, and collaborative team members.
Typical duties include:
Welcoming new and returning patients upon arrival, registering new patients, and providing essential information regarding their visit
Coordinating patient appointments both in-person and via phone
Maintaining regular communication with various stakeholders, including attorney offices, insurance providers, translation services, operational leaders, and business development teams
Collecting co-payments, managing insurance approvals, and conducting authorizations and verifications
Providing patients with relevant details about their upcoming appointments during checkout
Addressing inquiries from patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues
Qualifications:
Minimum
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED is necessary
Bilingual proficiency is preferred
Physical Demands:
Ability to walk, stand, bend, and reach consistently throughout the workday
Manual dexterity to enable typing (including 10-key) throughout the workday
Capability to lift up to 25lbs safely from ground to waist using proper techniques
Ability to carry office supplies weighing up to 10lbs
Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient for maintaining accurate records and recognizing individuals
Ability to communicate effectively to understand and provide directions
