The Salvation Army Central Territory is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at the Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC). Key Responsibilities- HR Operations: Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files, perform ADP data entry, and ensure compliance with Salvation Army policies and legal requirements.
- Employee Benefits: Coordinate employee benefits, assist employees with benefit registration, claims, and other concerns, and ensure timely enrollment in benefits.
- Training and Development: Implement and conduct HR training for management and supervisory staff, assist managers with employee orientation, and develop training plans and curriculum to meet identified requirements.
- Incident Reporting and Investigation: Investigate, report, and maintain records relating to incident reports, including injuries, accidents, OSHA reporting, harassment, or other grievances.
- Payroll and Timekeeping: Maintain accurate employee payroll records, coordinate with supervisors to ensure timesheets are properly recorded, submitted, and approved, and perform additional duties as assigned.
- Education: Associate degree and two years of experience in HR Management or Business Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business correspondence, technical procedures, and regulations; ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, administration, and employees.
- Physical Requirements: Speaking, hearing, and vision ability, and excellent manual dexterity to perform on computers; lifting, pulling, and pushing of materials up to 50 pounds to move equipment.
Office setting with quiet to moderate noise levels; occasional travel to various Family Store and warehouse locations.
