Position Overview:
As an integral part of Indian River State College, the ERP Systems Specialist plays a crucial role in optimizing our administrative functions. This position is responsible for the effective management, configuration, and upkeep of our enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, specifically the Ellucian Banner and Student Information Systems (SIS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Integration: Ensure seamless connectivity between various applications and our ERP system, enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Technical Expertise: Leverage your extensive knowledge and practical experience to support and improve processes within higher education through the Ellucian Banner system.
  • Implementation and Maintenance: Oversee the deployment and ongoing management of ERP solutions, ensuring alignment with institutional objectives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with various departments to gather requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions.
  • Documentation and Communication: Maintain clear documentation of processes and share insights with stakeholders to facilitate understanding and implementation.
  • Problem Resolution: Analyze issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: An Associate degree is required, with a Bachelor's degree preferred, or three years of relevant experience in a systems-related field. Experience with Ellucian Banner is advantageous.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL queries, PL/SQL jobs, triggers, and stored procedures is essential.
  • Collaboration: Strong ability to work with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide effective solutions.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and a focus on optimizing system performance.
  • IT Knowledge: Familiarity with IT systems, databases, and integrations relevant to the higher education sector.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications or experience in Ellucian Banner or similar IT fields are a plus.

Physical Requirements:
This role is classified as sedentary, involving minimal physical exertion, such as lifting items not exceeding 10 pounds. While primarily a desk job, occasional walking and standing may be necessary.
