Job Summary: In the role of HVAC Systems Specialist, you will leverage your specialized training and experience acquired during your military service to install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems for our clientele. Your technical proficiency, meticulous attention to detail, and dedication to quality will ensure the optimal functionality and dependability of HVAC equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your military-acquired knowledge and skills to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of HVAC systems, including commercial and industrial units.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to detect potential issues and guarantee efficient system performance.
- Diagnose system malfunctions using advanced troubleshooting techniques and specialized tools.
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as compressors, condensers, and electrical systems, drawing on your comprehensive understanding of HVAC technology.
- Recharge systems with the appropriate refrigerants and conduct leak tests to ensure system integrity.
- Offer expert advice to clients regarding equipment operation, maintenance best practices, and energy efficiency strategies.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities, including service reports and parts utilized.
- Adhere to safety protocols and comply with industry regulations when handling refrigerants and working with electrical systems.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in HVAC technology through ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications:
- Military veteran with experience in technical roles related to HVAC systems.
- Strong understanding of HVAC principles, systems, and components gained through military training.
- Proficient in diagnosing and resolving various HVAC issues, including electrical and mechanical problems.
- Familiarity with different refrigerants and their proper handling and disposal methods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to efficiently identify and address issues.
- Solid grasp of electrical and electronic systems related to HVAC.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Exceptional customer service skills and effective communication abilities.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- EPA 608 certification for refrigerant handling is preferred.
