Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent practical experience is essential.
  • Preferred experience of at least one year in a medical office, with urgent care experience being advantageous.
  • Certification in X-Ray (RT or LXMO) is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly wage starting at $26+, based on experience.

Work Schedule: Full-time position, approximately 40 hours per week. Fixed shifts available, with options for Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday.


Essential Responsibilities: The Medical Assistant will perform a variety of duties in accordance with established policies and procedures, including but not limited to:

  • Assisting with nursing procedures under the guidance of a healthcare provider.
  • Conducting full triage and vital sign assessments.
  • Performing essential skills such as vaccinations, blood draws, and EKG setups.
  • Maintaining accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and ensuring timely updates.
  • Stocking exam rooms with necessary medical supplies and maintaining equipment.
  • Facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers.
  • Documenting all required logs and checks as per protocol.
  • Supporting front office staff with patient scheduling and insurance verification.
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned by management.
