Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sauté Cook to join our culinary team at Water Grill South Coast Plaza. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items to order, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen and service areas.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and high-quality food.
  • Follow recipes, cooking techniques, and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience as a restaurant cook.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Food handlers card.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and co-workers.
  • Ability to maintain complete knowledge of cooking techniques, menu items, and quality standards.
