Job Title:
Mechanical Assembly Technician
*Job Description+ Perform fundamental assembly tasks for mechanical components and electrical wiring that contribute to large-scale system constructions for fluid-power systems.+ Interpret and follow basic blueprints, instructions, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written guidelines to accurately assemble machinery and products.+ Set up and operate production machinery in compliance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.+ Organize and plan work to fulfill production and scheduling demands.+ Utilize handheld tools such as wrenches, screws, and drill guns.+ Rework and/or repair assembled machinery and products in accordance with engineering specification modifications.COMPENSATION:
+ $22-$25/HR
Essential Skills+ Fundamental assembly of system components for both mechanical and electrical aspects of fluid power systems.
Work Environment+ This position is fully on-site.
Work Setting+ This role supports engineering and prototyping operations as well as final assembly and testing for fluid-power systems prior to final approval. The workspace is a very clean machine shop, equipped with new and organized tools, and a motivated team that values collaboration and mutual improvement. The organization is stable and has maintained employment without layoffs.
