Role Summary:

As an Electrical Assembly Technician, you will engage in various tasks to assist in the production of our lighting and hardware offerings. Your primary assignment will be within the Assembly area, with opportunities to support other functions as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and install electrical wiring for all lighting products.
  • Safely execute repetitive assembly tasks according to quality standards to produce finished light fixtures.
  • Conduct hand and bench assembly of small components using hand tools, adhesives, fasteners, and other equipment.
  • Test, calibrate, and fit parts to meet product specifications and tolerances.
  • Perform basic assembly tasks, including sandblasting and finishing activities as required.
  • Conduct in-line quality checks to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance operational processes and resolve issues.
  • May be assigned to different functional areas based on business needs.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and standards.
  • Complete additional tasks as directed by management.
  • Physical requirements include standing, walking, talking, and hearing, with the ability to lift or carry objects up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or relevant skills in lighting assembly is advantageous.
  • Proficient in operating hand tools.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret work and safety instructions in English.
  • Good hand dexterity for tool operation, requiring frequent grasping and fine manipulation.
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
Work Environment:
  • Work is conducted in a manufacturing setting with potential exposure to airborne particles, chemicals, and electrical equipment. Personal Protective Equipment is provided as necessary.
