Assembly Technician

Parker Hannifin Corporation is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team in the 1st Shift. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for executing assembly activities to meet customer requirements and internal measures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform various assembly and warehousing duties, including setting up and operating assembly equipment.
- Operate a range of assembly equipment, such as saws, crimpers, and assembly lathes.
- Prepare assembled products for shipment to customers.
- Cycle count and perform physical inventory.
- Use warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Read and interpret product prints and catalogs.
- Record assembly-related data on assembly paperwork and in computer-based programs.
- Maintain equipment according to facility maintenance procedures.
- Perform all responsibilities in a safe manner, observing all safety requirements.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to operate various types of assembly equipment, cutting equipment, and forklifts.
- Ability to use measuring devices, such as tape measurers and calipers.
- Perform basic math, including converting decimals to fractions and plotting on measuring tapes.
- Read and interpret written instructions.
- Computer experience a plus.
- Lift up to 40 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well in teams.
