Madden Industrial Craftsmen is in search of a Clean Room Technician for a long-term opportunity in a reputable plastics manufacturing facility. This role involves a variety of tasks including mechanical and electrical assembly, plumbing with stainless steel and Teflon tubing, and electrical wiring. Additionally, the technician will engage in fusion processes such as purebonding, socket, and infrared welding, as well as plastic welding.
Compensation: $20-$34/hr based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mechanical and electrical assembly, including wiring of cables and assemblies.
- Perform plumbing tasks using stainless steel and Teflon tubing.
- Execute tube bending operations.
- Utilize fusion techniques including purebonding, socket, and infrared welding, along with plastic welding.
- Interpret engineering drawings and label products according to specifications.
- Identify and resolve quality or process-related issues.
- Adhere to testing procedures and document relevant data.
- Provide training to other team members as necessary.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a preference for Clean Room experience.
- Experience in tube bending is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings.
- Familiarity with both Inch and Metric dimensions.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting bills of materials.
- Knowledge of various plastics including WPP, NPP, PVC, FRPP, PE, Polycarbonate, CPVC, PVDF, and FM4910 materials.
- Skilled in using a variety of tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and hand tools.
- Effective communication skills to address work orders, drawings, and machine errors.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean work environment.
- Able to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
- Capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs.
- Availability for either day or swing shifts.
- Competitive pay range of $20-$34/hr.
