Position Title: Vehicle Assembly Specialist

Role Overview:

We invite you to become a part of our innovative team dedicated to constructing a fleet of cutting-edge prototype vehicles. In this role, you will engage in troubleshooting, testing, and configuring these vehicles, working in close collaboration with engineers, electrical technicians, and mechanical specialists, all supported by documentation professionals.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using tools
  • Prior experience in the automotive sector is essential, whether as a technician, mechanic, or diesel specialist
  • Experience in mechanical assembly, reassembly, and vehicle construction within the automotive field is highly advantageous

  • Capability to work independently
  • Strong collaborative skills
  • Positive attitude with a focus on personal and professional growth

Key Responsibilities:

Your primary duties will include assembling and supporting the testing of vehicles from the foundational frame. Tasks may involve bolting on components, installing wiring and cabling, or collaborating with engineers to resolve issues and troubleshoot effectively. By the end of each day, you should witness tangible progress in your respective builds. The work environment is a collaborative shop where you will engage with a team of engineers and technicians.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist in vehicle assembly tasks
  • Verify the functionality of both electric and mechanical systems installed in the vehicles
  • Support troubleshooting efforts for any identified issues
  • Construct, modify, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems
  • Document any issues encountered and the resolutions implemented
  • Communicate and present any electrical and mechanical challenges observed throughout the vehicle's lifecycle
  • Maintain and test wiring harnesses as required
