Hotel Reservation Specialist Job Overview: Under the supervision of the Call Center Manager, the Hotel Reservation Specialist is tasked with managing all incoming telephone inquiries related to room bookings and hotel details. This role requires responding to all inquiries in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner, with the goal of converting each call into a confirmed reservation.

We provide both full-time and part-time positions throughout the year, operating 7 days a week from 7am to 11pm, including holidays.

Applicants must be prepared to work at least one shift each weekend.

Key Responsibilities for the Hotel Reservation Specialist:
  • Respond to phone calls and assist guests with making, modifying, or canceling reservations
  • Handle all calls promptly and courteously
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of hotels and resorts, including room types, operational procedures, amenities, and policies
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of current rates, special offers, and packages, along with their respective benefits
  • Accurately document and secure all necessary information from guests during the reservation process, including any specific requests or comments
  • Understand and communicate reservation policies regarding guarantees, cancellations, and no-shows clearly to guests
  • Adhere to the established rules and regulations of the Call Center
  • Assist with manual reservation entries, including third-party bookings such as online and wholesale
  • Perform daily administrative tasks and any additional projects assigned by the Team Lead, Supervisor, or Manager
Qualifications for the Hotel Reservation Specialist:
  • Exceptional phone etiquette and verbal communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in computer usage
  • Attention to detail and the ability to resolve customer inquiries effectively
  • A minimum of 1 year of previous experience in a Call Center or Hotel Front Desk environment is required
