About the Role

Insight Global is seeking a Lead Systems Architect to enhance our dynamic team. This is a permanent position aimed at driving strategic initiatives in systems engineering.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert evaluation and strategic guidance for the design, implementation, and optimization of compute, storage, and backup infrastructures.
  • Offering recommendations and strategies for projects involving system upgrades, migrations, and implementations across various teams.
  • Engaging in travel as necessary for team meetings and project collaborations.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A background in the financial sector.
  • Experience with Azure technologies.
  • 5+ years in systems engineering roles, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior capacity.
  • Expertise in Windows operating systems, with additional knowledge of Linux being a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in enterprise-level infrastructure technologies, including virtualization, storage solutions, and networking.
  • A proven track record in implementing solutions that ensure High Availability, Data Center Resiliency, and Business Continuity.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Windows Server, Exchange/M365, Cohesity, PureStorage, VMware ESXi, LogicMonitor, and Ivanti Service Manager.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing complex IT projects from inception to completion.
  • The ability to mentor junior team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Willingness to travel for team engagements.
  • A background in FinTech or FinOps is preferred.
