About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscape Architect to join our team as a Project Manager. As a key member of our Landscape Architecture team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a range of public park, waterfront, and trail projects of high complexity and visibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, including developing master plans and conceptual designs
  • Participate in and/or lead client and community engagement meetings
  • Integrate and translate science and field-based analyses
  • Produce construction documents and provide construction support services
  • Coordinate staff assignments and workloads for one or more landscape architects/designers
  • Review project accounting and prepare invoices
  • Support marketing efforts and contribute to the development of scopes, fee estimates, and other narrative components of task orders and proposals
  • Lead proposals for large, complex projects as a Project Manager
  • Participate in project presentations and proposal interviews
  • Serve as a technical specialist and mentor for grading, layout, irrigation, ornamental planting and native revegetation, ADA/ABA accessibility, site furnishings, design reports, and construction cost estimating
  • Provide mentorship and support for junior staff, including reviewing their work for accuracy and clarity and providing constructive feedback and career development guidance while working on projects together
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in landscape architecture
  • Licensed in Oregon or Washington
  • At least 10 years of related work experience
  • Proven success managing projects and coordinating with consultant teams, clients, and public agencies
  • Experience with AutoCAD/Civil3D, Adobe Creative Suite, modeling software and other design software
  • Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams to integrate data and analyses to plan and design native habitat restoration/enhancement, natural open space, recreation and public access improvements
