Overview

The Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist plays a crucial role in overseeing the preparation and management of loan documentation within the established frameworks of Alpine Banks of Colorado. This position ensures that all documentation is accurately completed and adheres to current banking standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generates precise loan documents utilizing the loan documentation software in alignment with the bank's loan processing protocols.
  • Provides assistance to lending support personnel regarding documentation or procedural inquiries.
  • Oversees workflow within designated responsibilities and offers support to colleagues as needed.
  • Identifies and rectifies any missing or incomplete documentation essential for loan files.
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned.
All employees are accountable for fulfilling the responsibilities of this role.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Exceptional customer service capabilities.
  • Familiarity with loan regulations and various methods of securing collateral (e.g., real estate, titled property, Uniform Commercial Code).
  • Proficient in standard computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with loan documentation software is advantageous.
  • Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational skills.
  • Ability to execute job functions with a high degree of precision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Understanding of and compliance with banking regulations.
  • Capacity to work efficiently under pressure in a dynamic environment while adhering to strict deadlines.

Education and Experience

Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
  • Preferred but not mandatory: Two or more years of experience in loan processing.
Work Environment

This position operates within a professional office setting, routinely utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Physical Requirements

While executing the responsibilities of this role, the employee is frequently required to communicate effectively. This position is primarily sedentary; however, some filing may be necessary, which involves reaching for and lifting files, opening filing cabinets, and occasionally standing on a stool. Specific vision capabilities required for this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee may need to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
