The Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist plays a crucial role in overseeing the preparation and management of loan documentation within the Bank's established frameworks. - Generates precise loan documents utilizing the loan documentation system (LaserPro) in line with the Bank's processing protocols.
- Provides assistance to lending support personnel regarding documentation or procedural inquiries.
- Oversees workflow within the designated area of responsibility and supports colleagues as time permits.
- Identifies any missing or incomplete documentation required for loan files.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
- Familiarity with loan regulations and various methods of securing collateral (e.g., real estate, titled property, Uniform Commercial Code (UCCs)).
- Proficient in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with LaserPro is advantageous.
- Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational capabilities.
- Ability to execute job responsibilities with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding and application of banking compliance regulations.
- Capacity to work under pressure in a dynamic environment while meeting stringent deadlines.
- Exhibits a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service consistently.
- Maintains a high level of professionalism and a positive demeanor.
- Effectively manages time and resources.
- Ensures a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness in work.
- Complies with all policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines of Alpine Bank.
Education:
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) equivalent is required.
- Preferred but not mandatory: Two (2) or more years of experience in loan processing.
This position operates within a professional office setting. The role typically involves the use of standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical Requirements
The following physical activities are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
While executing the duties of this role, the employee is frequently required to communicate verbally or audibly. This is primarily a sedentary position; however, some filing is necessary, which may require reaching for and lifting files, opening filing cabinets, and bending or standing on a stool as needed. Specific vision capabilities required for this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee may need to lift up to 25 pounds.
