Position Overview

UPP Global is a dynamic and expanding full-service parking management organization specializing in various aspects of parking solutions. We are currently seeking dependable and conscientious individuals for the Parking Operations Technician role.

Key Features:

  • Sign-on Incentive: $500, distributed in installments
  • Work Schedule: Wednesday to Sunday, 1 PM to 9 PM
  • The ideal candidate should be proactive, demonstrating a positive attitude towards daily responsibilities. We value reliability, discipline, and a commitment to integrity, along with the ability to efficiently navigate multiple locations while completing tasks.
  • Compensation: Starting pay ranges from $18.50 to $23.00 per hour, based on skills, attitude, and experience, with potential for a salary increase following a successful probationary period.

Job Responsibilities:

Facility Upkeep: The Parking Operations Technician is tasked with maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the removal of waste and light landscaping duties. This role requires working in various weather conditions, utilizing company-provided outerwear to tackle tasks effectively.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Exhibit a friendly, professional demeanor towards all guests, parkers, colleagues, and clients.
  • Show urgency and punctuality in all assigned tasks.
  • Clean and maintain parking areas, sidewalks, and pathways, ensuring they are free from snow, ice, and other hazards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the grounds, collecting visible litter and addressing pest issues as necessary.
  • Ensure all areas are free from dirt, dust, and debris.
  • Perform general landscaping tasks as required, depending on the season.
  • Utilize a company vehicle to patrol designated locations, identifying and addressing parking violations.
  • Manage signage within the parking facilities, including installation and repairs.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to remain active throughout the day, including sitting, standing, kneeling, walking, and driving. Must be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license held for a minimum of three consecutive years.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle report check. A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, occasionally under challenging weather conditions.
