About the Role:
Highgate Hotels is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including changing light bulbs, performing preventative maintenance on guest rooms, and repairing equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs as needed.
- Monitor energy conservation and implement cost-saving measures.
- Perform other tasks and jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Requirements:
- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Licensed in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) preferred.
- Valid driver's license for the applicable state.
- Acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record) property specific.
