Position Overview

UPP Global is a dynamic and expanding parking management firm operating across multiple states along the Eastern Seaboard, with a robust presence in over 300 locations. We are currently seeking several full-time and part-time Valet Parking Attendants for our Portland, Maine operations.

Key Requirements:
  • Availability on weekends is essential
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory and candidates will undergo a background screening
  • Compensation averages between $20 - $22 per hour, which includes a base rate of $15.00 per hour plus tips
  • Comprehensive benefits are available for full-time employees (30+ hours per week)
  • Outdoor gear will be provided for adverse weather conditions, as we operate in all weather
  • Experience in customer service, hospitality, or driving roles (such as delivery services) is highly valued
Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and greet guests with a friendly demeanor
  • Maintain a professional and courteous attitude towards all guests, colleagues, and clients
  • Deliver outstanding hospitality services to guests in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Safely park and retrieve vehicles for guests in a timely manner
  • Assist guests with inquiries regarding directions, reservations, and facility amenities
  • Clearly explain parking fees and retrieval processes to guests upon their arrival
  • Effectively communicate information in both individual and small group settings
  • Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Must be comfortable with various physical activities including sitting, standing, walking, and driving throughout the day
  • Exceptional customer service skills are required
  • Good hand-eye coordination is necessary due to driving responsibilities
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Must possess a current driver's license and maintain a clean driving record
  • A strong work ethic and teamwork mentality are essential
  • Professional appearance must be maintained at all times
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle report (MVR) check
