Overview

UPP Global is a dynamic, full-service parking management organization with a wealth of experience across various sectors of parking. We operate in multiple states along the Eastern Seaboard, managing over 300 locations and expanding. We are currently seeking a Parking Compliance Officer to oversee numerous parking facilities in the local area.

  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate independence, responsibility, punctuality, and attention to detail.
  • Compensation averages around $25/hr, combining a base rate of $17.50/hr with potential citation bonuses.
  • Full-time positions require a commitment of 30+ hours per week.
  • Available shifts include 9:00am-5:00pm and 12:00pm-8:00pm.
  • Weekend availability is essential.
  • Candidates must hold a valid driver's license and be prepared to undergo a motor vehicle background check.
  • Technical skills are necessary, as the role involves using handheld devices and computerized systems for tracking and reporting.
  • This position is primarily outdoors; appropriate weather gear will be provided, and work will continue in various weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor with all visitors, parkers, colleagues, and clients.
  • Conduct regular patrols of parking lots to ensure compliance with parking regulations.
  • Issue citations for violations in accordance with established guidelines for unauthorized or expired parking.
  • Manage and maintain signage within parking areas, including installation, repair, and removal.
  • Ensure cleanliness of parking lots by collecting litter, cleaning signs, and performing general maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot parking meters and related equipment as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with mobile applications and handheld devices is required.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions is essential.
  • Comfort with physical activity, including sitting, standing, walking, running, and driving for extended periods.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance, adhering to company uniform policies.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and willing to undergo a criminal background check.
  • Strong work ethic, teamwork, customer service, and communication skills are crucial.
