Our facility is a thriving emergency and specialty veterinary practice, featuring a team of 26 skilled doctors specializing in various fields including surgery, internal medicine, oncology, dermatology, neurology, emergency & critical care, and cardiology.
The Veterinary Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in our bustling emergency department, serving as a vital link among criticalists, emergency veterinarians, technicians, client service representatives, and clients. Responsibilities include assisting with triage, managing client communications, and facilitating patient discharges.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive veterinary experience (preferably in emergency settings), exceptional organizational abilities, a strong affinity for technology, and the capacity to communicate with empathy and clarity to clients, referring veterinary practices, and team members.
Previous experience in a veterinary setting is essential, with technician knowledge being advantageous, and excellent customer service skills being a key requirement. This role is particularly suited for seasoned veterinary technicians or assistants seeking a new direction in their careers.
