Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Staff Engineer will play a pivotal role within the Advanced Technical Group engineering team. This position involves close collaboration with design engineers, mechanical engineers, suppliers, and OEM/CMs to execute process verifications and validations for new product implementations. Additionally, this engineer will be responsible for integrating Design for Testing methodologies during new product introductions.

Additional Duties Include:

  • Designing and implementing electromechanical testing processes for both current and new products, both domestically and internationally.
  • Conducting comprehensive testing to manage product quality effectively.
  • Performing intricate troubleshooting in collaboration with on-site production teams or remotely with Original Equipment Manufacturing/Contract Manufacturing teams.
  • Documenting tests with relevant schematics for engineering review.
  • Working closely with design engineers to swiftly identify testing issues that may necessitate design modifications.
  • Providing support for both current and legacy testing equipment.
  • Creating schematics for testing apparatus and recommending suitable manufacturing equipment.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of ICT and FCT PCBA testing strategies.
  • Strong expertise in LabVIEW and Test Stand.
  • Familiarity with P/D FMEAs, Control Plans, and PPAP.
  • Understanding of Equipment Qualification (IQ, PQ, OQ).
  • Solid grasp of Gauge R&R and Statistical Process Control (Ppk).
  • Experience in medical electronics manufacturing is preferred.
  • Background in medical or automotive new product introduction is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of IPC standards is preferred.
  • Strong foundation in optical imaging and optical system design is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in aligning optical systems is preferred.
  • A basic understanding of Fanuc and UR robot systems is preferred.

Compensation: Salary range of $98,000 - $210,100, plus eligibility for bonuses and benefits. Actual compensation may vary based on location, skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
