Position Overview

We are in search of a proficient Senior Engineering Technician to play a pivotal role in the design and evaluation of our innovative material processing apparatus. The successful candidate will exhibit meticulous attention to detail, possess exceptional problem-solving abilities, and thrive in a collaborative environment to transition new products from ideation to manufacturing.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or Associate's degree coupled with 6-10 years of pertinent experience
  • Prior experience in semiconductor, laser, mechanical, or industrial capital equipment is strongly preferred

Core Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret industrial tool and assembly schematics
  • Assemble prototype printed circuit board assemblies
  • Modify prototype setups as necessary
  • Construct various prototype components
  • Build and evaluate industrial semiconductor processing equipment
  • Develop and assess experimental devices and fixtures
  • Utilize a variety of electronic and mechanical tools and equipment
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional departments
  • Contribute to enhancements in processes and hardware
  • Offer mentorship and support to junior technicians

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with PLCs and industrial automation systems
  • Background in troubleshooting automation technologies
  • Proficiency with tools such as end mills, lathes, or 3D printers
  • Knowledge of lasers, optics, and cleanroom protocols
  • Familiarity with pneumatic systems
