Position Overview
As a Lead Automation Systems Engineer at Halo Industries, you will be instrumental in advancing our innovative semiconductor manufacturing technologies.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Direct the architecture design of systems, integrating subsystems and developing control systems for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with teams of mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to ensure the flawless integration of various components and subsystems.
  • Create user interfaces and control algorithms for automated systems, prioritizing usability and operational efficiency.
  • Employ modeling and simulation tools, including MATLAB/Simulink and LabVIEW, to forecast system behavior and enhance performance.
  • Investigate and resolve complex system and subsystem issues, ensuring swift and effective solutions.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently, utilizing established project management practices.
  • Guarantee adherence to relevant SEMI and industry standards throughout the product development process.
  • Encourage innovation and creative problem-solving to tackle intricate engineering challenges and improve system performance.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in system design, integration, and automation, ideally within the semiconductor sector.
  • A robust understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering principles.
  • Expertise in systems engineering methodologies, control systems design, and modeling/simulation tools.
  • Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities, with a proven track record of effective collaboration in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools, along with product lifecycle management.
  • A creative and innovative mindset for addressing complex engineering challenges.
  • Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing semiconductor manufacturing technologies.
  • A keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and reliability.

Compensation
The base salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $220,000.
