Position Overview:
NVIDIA is on the lookout for a Lead Program Manager to spearhead our Advanced Robotics Initiatives. Join our Generalist Embodied Agent Research (GEAR) team, dedicated to pioneering the AI framework for humanoid robotics.

Your Role:

As a vital member of our innovative research team, you will ensure optimal productivity and project alignment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing research timelines and model deployment schedules.
  • Facilitating workflow enhancements and leading project meetings with comprehensive documentation.
  • Collaborating closely with engineers and researchers to monitor daily tasks and priorities.
  • Identifying and addressing project challenges while maintaining clear communication with team leaders.
  • Coordinating project milestones with other AI research teams within NVIDIA.
  • Engaging with external partners, including humanoid robotics hardware firms, to synchronize project objectives and deliverables.
  • Working alongside product and marketing teams to develop promotional content for events.
  • Managing lab equipment procurement and maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Collaborating with facilities to resolve any operational challenges in the lab.
  • Monitoring GPU cluster performance and coordinating with infrastructure teams to address feature requests and bug resolutions.
  • Maintaining up-to-date project documentation and FAQs for team accessibility.
  • Acting as the primary liaison for all inquiries related to the Advanced Robotics Initiatives.

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of 6 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in program management or a related role, ideally within AI, robotics, or software domains.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and technical presentation skills.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive AI research environment.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin for effective communication with international partners.

Preferred Attributes:

Ideal candidates will also possess:

  • A solid technical foundation in AI, machine learning, and robotics.
  • Hands-on programming experience, particularly with Python and related ML/AI frameworks.
  • Experience collaborating across different geographies and time zones.
