Job Title: VP of Sales

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Generation: Identify and pursue fresh business opportunities, consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Prospecting: Conduct in-depth market research to pinpoint ideal clients, generate a robust sales pipeline, and qualify leads.
  • Strategic Sales: Develop and execute winning sales strategies to conquer new markets and propel business growth.
  • Client Relationship Champion: Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective clients through strategic outreach, relationship building activities, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Logistics & Brokerage Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of the logistics and brokerage industry to tailor solutions that optimize client supply chains and address their specific needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with internal teams like operations and customer service to guarantee exceptional service delivery and ultimate client satisfaction.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Maintain meticulous records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions within the CRM system. Generate regular reports that analyze sales performance and illuminate key market trends.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 Years of Sales Experience: A minimum of 5 years in sales, with a demonstrably successful track record in business development. Prior experience within the logistics and brokerage industry is highly coveted.
  • Proven Sales Champion: A history of achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving significant business growth.
  • Market Mastermind: A strong understanding of market dynamics, the competitive landscape, and current trends within the logistics sector.
  • Communications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver impactful presentations and negotiate effectively.
  • Relationship Management: A proven ability to build and cultivate strong client relationships.
  • Self-Motivated & Adaptable: A highly driven and self-motivated individual with a proactive sales approach. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities is essential.
