About the Opportunity
The Jewish Community Center of Staten Island is seeking a skilled Grant Development Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for assisting with the planning, development, and writing of grant proposals to support the growth of our agency's vision.

Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and submission of grant applications, including correspondence with funders and budget narratives.
- Develop a thorough understanding of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Recommendations for Funding (RFAs) to inform decision-making throughout the grant process.
- Collaborate with staff to maintain relationships with private foundations and ensure timely submission of reports and other materials.
- Oversee the tracking of awards from private and UJA sources, as well as the management of city, state, and federal contracts as needed.
- Maintain existing contracts, develop new ones, and coordinate grant meetings, including room reservations and invite generation.
- Work closely with the Contract Manager, Grants Specialist, Maintenance Supervisor, Chief Financial Officer, and NYS Contract Manager on Homeland Security Contracts.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Proficient computer knowledge and skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Requirements
- Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- DocuSign expertise.
- Microsoft Office experience.
- PMP certification or equivalent.
- Budgeting skills.

Compensation
This role offers an annual salary range of $35,000-$37,500, depending on experience.
