Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our extended home care team.

About the Role:

  • Provide speech and language services to patients with disorders, as ordered by primary medical doctors.
  • Assess patient speech and language abilities and deficits.
  • Develop plans of care in accordance with authorized practitioner's plans of treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct initial assessments and periodic reassessments of patient conditions.
  2. Design and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  3. Select and utilize appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic techniques and materials.
  4. Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure continuous coordination of patient care.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A master's degree in speech pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Certification of clinical competence in speech pathology granted by American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Licensure and registration to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New York State.
