Job Summary:

As a Field Service Engineer for Digirad, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing molecular imaging equipment, including PET, PET/CT, CT, SPECT, and SPECT/CT systems. You will work closely with customers to ensure their equipment is functioning properly and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair molecular imaging equipment at customer sites
Provide technical support and training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues in a timely and efficient manner
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Maintain accurate records of service calls, including equipment maintenance and repairs

Requirements:

Associate Degree in electronics or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience with molecular imaging equipment, including PET, PET/CT, CT, SPECT, and SPECT/CT systems
Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively
Strong customer service and communication skills
Proficient with Cloud IOS, Microsoft Word, Excel, and CRM
Expert level experience with standard and metric tools

Working Conditions:

This role requires frequent travel to customer sites, including hospitals, clinics, and physician offices. You must be able to work in confined areas and drive to and from facilities in various weather conditions. The work environment may involve exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions.
