Field Engineering Specialist

The Opportunity:
- Provide technical repair and installation services for Roche assigned product lines.
- Travel to laboratory customers in your assigned territory to offer valuable service.
- Perform routine technical support, on-site service, repair, and installation of Roche products.
- Serve as a customer contact for technical and service-related issues and perform preventative maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures.
- Document all activities and contribute to quality improvement.
Requirements:
- High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or work experience.
- 5 years of progressive experience in repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking.
- Successful completion of training or certification as defined by RD Services Leadership and policy.
- Ability to travel, including overnight travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years of progressive experience or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 4+ years of progressive experience.
- Advanced knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems, information technology, and basic chemistry.
- Ability to serve as an internal technical resource, provide support after hours and on weekends/holidays, and maintain strong customer relationships.
Relocation benefits are available for this position. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Pennsylvania is $66,200 and $123,000. Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
