Position Overview:
The Human Resources department is in search of a dedicated Staff Recruiter & Recruitment Business Partner to enhance our recruitment initiatives. This role is crucial in supporting new hires and current employees through various onboarding and job placement avenues. We are looking for individuals who can significantly contribute to our mission and objectives as we adapt to growth and process transformations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform initial evaluations of applicants and recommend qualified candidates to respective departments for further assessment.
  • Collaborate with departments to offer guidance and training on the hiring process, along with recruitment-related practices and protocols.
  • Provide training and change management support to campus HR partners during the implementation of a new ERP system.
  • Advise departmental partners on sourcing and interviewing techniques to enhance the recruitment of qualified candidates.
  • Engage with candidates regarding various recruitment-related inquiries, including job qualifications, resume assistance, salary inquiries, benefits information, and employment eligibility.
  • Initiate the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Participate in community outreach events such as career fairs and assisted placement services.
  • Formulate sourcing strategies with community partners to proactively recruit for future openings and establish candidate pipelines.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, including local chambers, technical schools, high schools, and higher education institutions.
  • Design and deliver training programs to meet internal and external business requirements.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field with 2 years of relevant experience – OR – an Associate's degree with 3 years of relevant experience – OR – 5 or more years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with system implementations
• Experience in conducting or facilitating group training sessions
• Experience in recruitment within a higher education context
• PHR or other recruitment-related certification

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to be innovative and consultative

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Familiarity with IRIS (SAP) and Taleo (Oracle)
• Working knowledge of Oracle Recruiting Cloud
• Skills in candidate sourcing and the ability to develop strategies for challenging-to-fill positions
