Lead Field Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Field Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful installation and operation of our building automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commissioning Expertise: Install, troubleshoot, and optimize customer systems utilizing advanced Direct Digital Control technology.
  • Technical Leadership: Act as a local technical contact and provide effective solutions to system issues.
  • System Operation: Ensure proper operation of systems including controls, sensors, and software.
  • Project Delivery: Deliver turnkey projects on medium to large scale.
  • Training and Support: Offer site-specific training to system owners/operators.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in Building Automation, HVAC, or related field.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to climb ladders, lift heavy items, and hold a valid Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Education: Degree or certification in HVAC, Controls, or related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in building automation software and controls.
  • Networking Expertise: Experience with TCP/IP networks and wireless technology.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical information effectively.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.
