Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hearing Care Coordinator to work closely with our clinical staff to ensure patients receive quality care and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients with a positive and professional attitude, providing a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Schedule appointments and verify insurance benefits, ensuring seamless communication with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Collect patient intake forms and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient files and notes, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Provide first-level support to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process repairs under the supervision of a licensed Hearing Care Professional, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Prepare bank deposits and submit daily reports to finance, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely financial transactions.
  • Maintain equipment and instruments, ensuring optimal functionality and minimizing downtime.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed, ensuring a well-stocked and efficient work environment.
  • Assist with event planning and logistics for community outreach events, promoting Sonova AG's commitment to community engagement.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with an Associate's degree preferred.
  • Prior experience or knowledge with hearing aids is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook, with a strong understanding of EMR/EHR systems.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
