Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing direct patient care and support to our patients in the Obstetrics and Gynecology department. As an LPN, you will work closely with our registered nurses and physicians to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Assist physicians and other nursing personnel with various diagnostic procedures and treatments.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Practical Nurse program required.
  • Current South Carolina (or compact state) licensure as LPN (SCLLR) in good standing required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Previous OB-GYN experience preferred.
  • Previous Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred.
