About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team at Facility Maine Behavioral Healthcare. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing holistic care to patients in a primary care setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide screening, assessments, and focused brief treatment to patients of the practice.
  • Offer individual, family, and group work to support patients' mental health needs.
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians and their office staff to provide comprehensive care.
  • Link patients to additional services and supports, and participate in population health activities.
  • Provide curbside consultation to providers and contribute to the development of treatment plans.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as social work or counseling.
  • Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maine.
  • 2+ years of experience in a health or mental health setting, with proficiency in psychosocial assessment and treatment.
  • Knowledge of community resources and agencies, and ability to use them in resolving complex problems related to health, illness, and disability.
  • Ability to teach basic social work principles and applications to the medical setting.
