Job Summary

Creative Financial Staffing is seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Director to lead our Cybersecurity and Infrastructure team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for driving future vision, strategy realization, technology roadmaps, and innovation initiatives across the IAM landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Manage the day-to-day operations of a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure assignments are completed in accordance with established guidelines and advice on conflicting priorities.
  • Strategic Planning: Understand the overall organizational vision and collaborate with management to set team goals and establish product roadmaps in alignment with our strategic vision that translate into actionable plans at the team level.
  • Culture of Innovation: Maintain a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement and lead the team through periods of change and transformation. Recommend, develop, organize, and communicate roadmaps to set priorities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build, collaborate, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, strategic partners, and vendors to identify technology needs and opportunities and work with internal IT groups to provide effective solutions to address business needs.
  • Business Focus: Foster a business-oriented focus and culture, working closely with business and IT management to establish priorities and deliver solutions that best support the business needs and enable future enterprise capabilities.
  • Technical Leadership: Plan, resource, and provide direction and technical leadership for low- to medium-complexity IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Financial Management: Assist in the development and management of the department (IAM) budget, tracking expenses and actual costs throughout the year, and ensure that resources are allocated effectively to meet business requirements.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay abreast of the latest technology trends, industry advancements, and regulatory changes, and make recommendations for adopting new technologies to improve operational efficiency and knowledge sharing for effective collaboration with the client groups.
  • Technology Assessment: Assess and identify technology needs and opportunities, making recommendations for system enhancements, upgrades, or replacements. Develop, maintain, and update operational processes as capabilities mature within IT and drive adoption of Zero Trust principles.
  • Business Case Development: Partner with leadership to develop strong business cases for technology initiatives.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the development of IT policies, procedures, and standards that are in line with our area of responsibility and industry standards. Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and standards to achieve 'Effective' audits.
  • Talent Management: Responsible for recruitment, development, retention, performance management of talent to meet needs of the business.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other computer-related degree required.
  • 10+ years of diversified IT experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience directly leading professional staff required.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) preferred.
  • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator preferred.
